Ilen, if you post a photo of the entire reverse, I'll be able give more detailed comments. In the meantime, I agree with Sam the Parrot and Bill that this is not a re-punched 9. It is from a die well along in the production sequence by which time the 9 on the Narrow 9 punch was getting tired (broader and more rounded than originally). In the old days, when people believed there was such an animal as a non-overdate Wide 9, it was not unusual to see the "broadened" Narrow 9s being offered as a Wide 9.
