I agree with Sandy, but then I'm 'merican and that's 'merican grading.
PCGS has been grading that way (market grading, considering eye appeal) for years. ICCS is rapidly heading that way, but are not very consistent about it IMHO. CCCS is more technical grading in the Canadian tradition, but I am not sure they will stay that way.
You can favor either way (including eye appeal or not), but serious collectors do better by understanding which way the coin was graded and understanding how to grade coins themselves.
