Re: 1815 Magdalen Island token

Until 2009, I owned the twin to that one, sold in the Stack's sale. It was in a SP-64 ICCS holder, graded in 2004, prior to the easing of the grading. I also bought a SP-62 from Sandy at a CAND show in Hamilton about 5 years ago. Both are sold now, but they were lovely to look at, as I am sure their new owners can appreciate.

The Magdalen piece being discussed appears to have reasonably good detail (from the pictures shown), but has considerable corrosion on the reverse, and likely most collectors would not consider it a candidate for their collection. If one were simply showing the obverse, it would be okay to purchase at about $125.
