Re: Token Question 1855

It is a Prince Edward Island token. They are found having normal 5's which are identified by Charlton as PE-6A1, or re-cut 5's identified by Charlton as PE-6A2 and PE-6A3, dependent upon whether the die-axis is Medal or Coinage. The Medal die-axis is the 6A2 variety, whereas the Coinage die-axis is the 6A3 variety. They are all common tokens and the token you have should be in the 5 dollar range.
