Re: Coin sizes and photography

The reason the top two look bigger than the bottom row is that the coins are on a level, but the camera is focusing grom an angle.It is best to take the shots looking straight down at the coin, or coins. The close-up, will show less abberation, (i think that is the word), if the depth of field is shallow.
