1859/8?

I bought this coin as a 1859/8, BUT, every time I look at it, I get the impression that it is actually a 9/9, SSW. There is "something in the gap below the loop, and the bulb, but I can't make out what it is. I can't give a full-face image, but can give quadrants, as desired, OBV, and REV. TIA, and comments welcome!
