Re: Rob: 1859/8 and 1859 N9, both with an obverse OG3?

The three obverse dies that "bridge" between the overdate and the 1859 Narrow 9 reverses have been discussed in detail in the second installment of my 1859 Narrow 9 die catalog in the Dec. 2010 issue Numismatica Canada. Specifically, the 1859 N9 reverse linked to obverse OG3 is one I term E2. Interestingly, through study of the obverse die states, one can show that reverse E2 was used with OG3 BEFORE the 1859/8 reverse.
