Re: Vancouver Show inspiring!

Being a native of Vancouver (although I am now in the United States), I can understand the context of what ronscoins was saying regarding the sales process and the ICCS certification. I have attended many of the Oakridge shows and I think the attendees have a greater comfort level with ICCS versus some of the other TPG companies. This is not a comment regarding the merits of any particular TPG company, it has more to do with familiarity and comfort of a specific geographic area than anything else.

When paccoins mentioned that Vancouver is a city with lots of money and NOT many full service dealers to spend it with, I will make the observation that the full service dealers that are in Vancouver have a much bigger inventory of ICCS graded coins if indeed they certify the coins to begin with. This is because of their geography and the preferences of the customer base. In fact, if you check through posted inventory lists, many of the coins graded by other companies (such as PCGS and NGC) are cross graded by ICCS to meet the comfort level of the (provincial) BC customers. Just an observation, but it has been that way for a long time.
