Re: Nice new giftware at the the RCM.

Dizzy and confused. Same way with the housing market.. and Bank of Canada prime rates. It's got to be coming, *POP*. Our house appreciated by 2x as much since it was built in 2002. Great and all.. except I have children and they will have children, which all require a future. Who's running this bubble and when "will" it collapse? Maybe it's time to move. :) !? SELL SELL!!!

Of course the housing market works both ways.. for long-term owners whom purchased at reasonable house pricing at high locked in rates, they benefit because it was all about them at that period of time. On the other side are the first time buyers with low bank rates and no room for prime to go up or it'll break their wallets. It's not worth the inflation, IMO. Deflation sucks too, and misrepresented pseudo-science advertisements.

Mikeymar, I couldn't have said it any better. *rants* :) I'm sorry to hear that about your 88 year old friend. It is rather strange to think that Mint giftware can get any higher in list price. Hearing you post that the purchase price (Mint stock) was not at present cost .. and sitting here wondering if the "pretty pretty swarovski elements" are a part of the 7.96grams of 99.99 silver, makes me want to go back to, what, around 2002-04 and see what happened to trigger higher precious metal pricing. Around the same time as our housing market started to spike, and after the annual rental increases skyrocketed.

What next? "WHILE SUPPLIES LAST".... Hold onto an inflated piece of our heritage and you might just live long enough to enjoy the appreciation that we did when we sold you this over priced coin?

*cheers. I'm scattered. lol I feel better now. Please forgive me. :)
