Re: 1987 Loonie No Clash

Hmmm ?? A real possibility.

I'm not totally convinced by the overlay of the loonie, as many die clashes I've seen are not in perfect alignment reverse to obverse; e.g. 1881H cent has the die clash of beads lower than they would be if perfectly flipped. I have an 1859 cent with the chin die clash on the top of the 9 and another with it at the T of cent, and another with multiple clashes that are slightly higher each time. I don't know if modern presses would preclude this from happening now.

As they say, " More research is necessary".
