Re: Gold, placer type

Quartz is an indicator for gold..Gold is found with quartz ( hard rock source gold ) however Quarz does not always hold gold. Magnatite is an indicator for placer..similar weights. I'm a big fan of the Dry Wash ...and great claim name.
