FedEx for coins
I would like to ask some advice on a topic coming out of an earlier thread. When I looked into shipping coins by FedEx or UPS, either nationally (within the USA for me) or internationally, I believe that coins as numismatic items (not currency) are specifically not accepted for shipment and not included for insurance coverage in the case of loss. Yet, folks here are comfortable shipping with these carriers - is there something I do not understand here? Thanks for any help,
