Re: 1982 Canadian 5 cent coin
The coin is supposed to weigh 4.54 grams. I weighed a 1979 and it shows 4.5 grams as my scale only weighs in a 1/10's and not 1/100's. The 1982 copper colored coin shows as 4.6 grams? Is copper a heavier metal than Nickel? Also, this coin would not be plated? It is 75% copper and 25% nickel? Maybe this one is 100% copper?
