Those amounts are for 100% silver content in a coin. Remember that when you go to sell, you are likely to get about 88-90% of that amount for Canadian and U.S. coins, but approximately about 80% for foreign coins. You may get 89% for sterling silver, but that percentage will drop for lower silver contents, such as .500 or .400 .... below that (Mexican .100 and even the USA wartime silver nickels as examples), many silver buyers do not want the coins.
