About The Artist:

Tony Bianco's art displays a love for life, for nature and for communicating emotion visually. From an early age he was selling artwork to his high school art teachers and holding shows at local libraries and galleries. Expressing himself as a full-time artist since the age of twenty, his work was soon noticed by the nature and wildlife art community.

In 1990, Tony began to experiment with plein-air painting, working directly from the subject, on location. His work up to this point had been created in the studio from sketches and photo references. He embarked on a study of working from life in the landscape in all seasons, and found a method of working and a style that was truly his own, born of a desire to truthfully communicate his excitement about what he saw.

Tony continues to explore his world through painting landscapes, animals, birds and figures. He has worked in oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolour and graphite. He divides his time between working on location and in his studio, located in central Ontario where he resides with his wife and daughter.
