This Dictionary, devoted entirely to numismatic expressions, is an attempt to consolidate the glossaries usually seen...a sort of glossary of all glossaries. Many of the items listed are official numismatic terms and many others are a form of everyday "talk." All of them, nonetheless, are regularly in use within the entire numismatic industry. The attempt has been to focus on coins as opposed to tokens and medals and furthermore on those terms used in the field of Canadian numismatics.
